A Handy Shamrock

Saint Patrick’s day will be here in less than a month and with it comes the annual tradition of our visiting leprechaun. Susie and I decided that we would make a shamrock using her hand print while we anxiously await his arrival.  We both can’t wait to see what kind of silly antics he will be bringing to our house this year.

All you need for this super easy and quick craft is green paint, a paint brush, and paper. It really doesn’t get any easier.

A Handy Shamrock

We simply painted and pressed Susie’s hand down on the paper in a four-leaf clover pattern. I found that it worked best by repainting Susie’s hand after each time, and having her keep her fingers together . After we had four hand prints we painted a green stem.

A Handy Shamrock We both enjoyed making our shamrock for Lucky our leprechaun, and we can’t wait to see what he thinks about it.
