It’s an amazing simple snack no matter how you pronounce it! There are many variations you can do, white chocolate, brownie mix coating, etc, but this is the basic recipe for making this delicious sweet treat!
You will need:
9 cups Rice Chex or generic version (It’s what I use!)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
a large paper grocery bag or large plastic bag
In a saucepan, melt chocolate, peanut butter, and butter together. Stir until smooth.
Measure out the cereal in a large bowl and pour the melted chocolate mixture in. GENTLY fold it into the cereal.
Pour coated cereal into large plastic bag, or even better, a paper grocery bag. Add in powder sugar and shake gently! Feel free to add more powder sugar to ensure a good coating. The bits should not be wet and should have a light coating of powder sugar.
Serve and enjoy!
