Valentine’s Day Treat – Strawberry Float

Valentine’s Day is coming! We love Holidays. Whether they are the kind that people grumble about and declare that they only exist because of greeting card companies or whether they are the big ones that many love. We just LOVE them all!

The weather around us has been dreary and blah so I decided it was time to perk us all up with some Valentine’s Day Strawberry Floats!

They are delicious and so easy to make that I make different ones throughout the year. I picked up two cute glasses for the boys (they are really vases) and always serve the special floats in them. I also like to add decorated spoons or cute straws to go with the theme.

Strawberry Float

You will need:
Strawberry Soda (I buy Big K)
Vanilla Ice Cream
Whip Cream and a Cherry

Directions:
Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in your glass
Carefully add strawberry soda (it can really foam a lot)
Spray your whipped cream on top
Garnish with a cherry
Serve with straw and spoon

You can do this with other flavors as well. As I said we make them all year for special treats. At Christmas I use peppermint ice cream with cola or chocolate soda!  Add a little extra love to your day and enjoy a Valentine’s Day Strawberry Float. They are delicious!
