Strawberry Hearts are a fun treat all year long. My 6 year old LOVES fruit of all kinds but particularly strawberries. I like to make them pretty for him.
Strawberry Hearts are SO easy to make!
Wash your strawberries (like you didn’t know that already, huh?) and slice in half.
Then cut out the ‘V’. The V is the core part that you may already cut. Just do it a little deeper and sharper than normal and you end up with a heart!
You can serve your strawberry hearts just like this or you can dip some in chocolate! I had some I got on clearance from Target. Red Velvet Chocolate. Delicious! So I decided to dip a few of my strawberry hearts in it.
They turned out really tasty! I would show you a photo of them but they were snatched up as quickly as I dipped. Photos, next time!
