Last week my friends showered the newest addition to The Neighborhood Moms family. You will be seeing some of the great food and fun shared here in the next couple weeks. Today I am excited to show you a gift I received from Mindy!
It is not unusual to receive diapers as a gift for a new baby but Mindy took it a step further but gifting two sizes of diapers and customizing each diaper.
Each diaper in the packs has a Bible verse hand written on it. She chose verses involving love, patience and children. By gifting us with diapers in more than one size we will not be using these up as quickly. I have mixed the smallest ones in with our plain newborn diapers so I don’t know when I will pull one out with a verse. Each time I do grab one of the baby shower diaper blessings I pause to read it and consider the meaning. One verse stands out for me and I am planning to save the diaper rather than use it: “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed“, 1 Corinthians 15:51
What Mom can’t relate to that? A new baby changes your world quickly, no one sleeps like they did before the baby and you not only change a baby diaper you effect changes in their life.
This simple gift idea is one that even the least crafty person can do to personalize a gift for a new Mom!
