We are willing Spring to arrive with our Footprint Bunny! It’s a fun and easy Easter Craft. We also happen to call our 6 year old Bunny. So I couldn’t resist doing it with him!
What you Need:
Paint – we used yellow for the body, white for the eyes and a dot of red
Paintbrush
Paper
Sharpie – for whiskers and details
Foot
Dip your child’s foot in the paint. Make sure it is well covered. Stamp the foot onto the paper. Set it aside to dry.
After the foot stamp is fully dry. Take your paintbrush and paint ears and a fluffy tail.
I used dots of white and yellow for the tail.
Use white paint to add your eyes and teeth and ear highlights. Add a tongue with red.
When your paint has dried use your sharpie to add whiskers, nose, pupils and teeth details.
I added the child’s name and the year with foam letters. Next we framed it. We will keep it out through Easter. Once the holiday is over I will tuck the frame away with other decorations and next year when we make our new one we can compare how much his foot has grown!
We love our Bunny!

What a cute craft project. I’ll have to do this with my kids.
Okay, I will admit at first I was like “How are you going to make a bunny out of a foot?!” And then I saw the final picture and it was like “Oh! Duh!”. Very cute idea!
