This easy peach cobbler uses a white cake mix! I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this peach cobbler. I make it for family and always end up converting them to this recipe. It’s that darn good. You could use any fruit you like, or a combination of fruit(peach and blackberry? hello!) This does NOT last long in our house.
You will need:
1 box White Cake Mix
1 block cream cheese
1 stick butter
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 bags frozen peaches (you COULD use canned or fresh)
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine sugar and water in a pot on the stove and heat until syrupy. Add frozen peaches and cook till slightly softened. If using fresh, this may take a little longer. If using canned, just pour out a little of the syrup from the can, you don’t need all of it. Add a few dashes of cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg to peaches.
In a bowl, combine the cake mix, cream cheese, and butter. This will take some elbow grease, but combine well. You could use a mixer if needed. Take pieces of the dough and flatten them out like biscuits, and place on top of peaches until everything is covered.
Once peaches are covered, bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. Check topping for doneness.
Once done, let sit before serving. It goes GREAT with vanilla ice cream!

Peach cobbler always reminds me of summer time. I bet this would be yummy with a tall glass of iced tea!
Oh man I don’t even like peaches and yet I really want to enjoy a bowl of this. Saving this for the kids to make.
You know, I’ve never had peach cobbler. This sounds easy enough to make, though!
oh my goodness, girl. Get on it!! LOL
I just made peach cobbler last night. We love it around here. This recipe does sound really good. It’s a lot different from the one I use.

Love peach cobbler!!
Yeah, I’ve got to try this. We love peach cobbler, blackberry cobbler (made with wild blackberries picked here on our property) and, well, my favorite, blueberry cobbler. Maybe tonight! I think I have a white cake mix in the cabinet!
I’ve made peach, blackberry, and peach/blueberry and it’s always a hit wherever I take it! It also freezes really well if you do so before you bake it!
It’s seriously the best!
I so love peach Cobbler. I’ve copied your recipe and will be making some this dessert this weekend. Thanks for the easy recipe for this wonderful treat.
Oh I love this and I actually have all the ingredients. I was wondering what I could do with a can of peaches. 🙂 Love the pictures too.
