We love tacos! But having the same tacos so often, I thought it was time to change it up a bit and make dinner fun! I made our regular taco meat, and added it along with some refried beans into wonton wrappers placed inside a cupcake pan! They turned out really cute!
I wanted to make these tacos a bit healthier, so when I went to the store to get the ingredients, much to my surprise, ground turkey was cheaper than beef! So I had yet another reason to skip the beef and go for the healthier ground turkey!
You will need:
1lb ground turkey (or beef if you prefer)
1can refried beans
1 package wonton wrappers
toppings of choice (shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes, olives, etc)
Yields about 24 taco cups
Brown your ground turkey with a package of taco seasoning.
Once the meat is ready, arrange 2 wonton wrappers into each cup of the cupcake pan making sure to overlap them at the bottom. Use about a tablespoon of refried beans in the bottom and a tablespoon of taco meat on top of that. Please ignore my “well loved” cupcake pan 🙂
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, but keep an eye on the tips of the wrappers to make sure they aren’t getting burnt. I like to put my cheese on top of the cups right as they come out of the oven so it melts on the hot taco meat. For fun, make a taco bar and let the kids choose their own toppings for their taco cups!

Love this! I’ve never tried Turkey before but we have done Pork , is there a better taste with the Turkey?
It honestly doesn’t taste much different except it didn’t taste greasy at all, which is good! I think I prefer the turkey!
What a cute way to make tacos. These would be great for a party!
We love tacos but my kids aren’t big fans. I bet they would eat these up just because of how they are bite sized and perfect for kids.
Yum! That looks like the kind of taco night my kids would love.
We make these, but use Tostitos scoops!
