Go and Grow with Similac at Baseball Games

This post was developed in partnership with Similac. All opinions are my own.

At our house Spring and Summer mean baseball. We are either at practice, private coach or a game a few days a week. This means that our meals sometimes have to be on the go and that is difficult with a toddler. We recently found Go & Grow by Similac pouches at Walmart and decided to give them a try.

They come in many flavor varieties and since our girl is a good eater I picked up a few different flavors for her to try.  I love that I am able to pop a couple in my baseball bag to have when she needs a quick snack or meal on the go! They contain 3 to 4 servings of fruits and vegetables. They contain a 4 oz serving which is a little larger than the typical pouches she eats and help fill her up more.

These healthy pouches are Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO, contain no fillers, artificial flavors or colors and are gluten free. They also contain Similac’s OptiGRO which is a brain and eye-nourishing blend of DHA, Lutein and Vitamin E.

Our girl is a very independent almost two year old and she loved being able to hold the pouch herself while cheering her brothers on! She seems to most enjoy the Mango, Sweet Potato, Pear Puree with Mango, Apple, Butternut Squash, Spinach Puree coming in a close second.  The toddler pouches come in 4 flavor choices:

  • Butternut Squash, Pumpkin, Banana, Carrot, Spinach, Broccoli Puree
  • Mango, Sweet Potato, Pear Puree
  • Mango, Apple, Butternut Squash, Spinach Pure
  • Apple, Butternut Squash, Banana, Blueberry Puree

We also tried Go & Grow by Similac Toddler Drink. It is a powder base drink and I was so excited to see that it can be purchased at Walmart in convenient single serving packets. Each packet makes an 8oz sippy cup full of milk based drink. We chose vanilla flavor for our girl.  At first she was not sure about the taste but she quickly came to like it and asked for more.  The packets are great to pop in my baseball tote and have available for her to drink at practices and games rather than trying to drag around milk or juice for her.  The toddler drink has has over 25 essential vitamins and minerals to support growth and development with  at least 30% Daily Value* of iron, calcium, and vitamins C & E in each serving.
