Grilled Greek Chicken Feta Burger

We eat a lot of chicken at our house. It is grilling weather so today I am sharing one of our favorite burger recipes.   Grilled Greek Chicken Feta Burgers can be served with Tzatziki or plain. Either way they are moist and delicious!

What you Need:

1 lb ground chicken breast
3 ounces crumbled feta cheese
1/4 italian bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons sundried tomatoes – chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons crushed garlic
1 tablespoon chopped oregano (2 tablespoons if you don’t use italian bread crumbs)
1/4 tablespoon coarse ground black pepper
Salt to taste

Preheat grill and lightly coat grate with olive oil (I use a sprayer)

Mix chicken, bread crumbs, egg,  garlic, oregano, pepper and salt. Add sundried tomatoes and feta cheese. Form your patties. They will feel a little stickier than hamburger patties.

Cook about 5 minutes on each side. Do not flatten with spatula.  Remove from grill to plate lined with paper towels to drain juice before putting on bun.

Serve with onions, sliced red peppers and black olives.  These are great with a little Tzatziki drizzle or dipped. Delicious!
