Monkey bread is a favorite of ours. It’s warm, delicous, buttery and cinnamony. Yum! It’s also really quick and easy to make in the microwave. I am in love with my silicone bundt pan. It’s great for microwave or oven and I have been making Microwave Monkey Bread.
What you Need
7 tbsp butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
2 cans biscuits
Melt butter and mix with sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Cut biscuits into quarters and pour sugar mixture over. Stir to coat.

This Microwave Monkey Bread looks delicious and so quick!
You just sold me on the microwave! We love monkey bread and now my teen can make it too!
We were having some electrical work done and it put our microwave out of commission while it was being completed. My husband made a comment that we should use the microwave less often. My sincere & immediate reaction was, “But how would we cook?” I think I’m a little too dependent upon it. But this is showing just how important it is! I neeeeeed my microwave so I can make monkey bread.
I have some friends who have gone microwave free. I have no idea how they survive without fast monkey bread!
I love monkey bread but hate all the work that goes into it. I never knew you could make it in the microwave!!
This recipe makes it quick and easy to get a Monkey Bread fix!
I am so wishing that I had picked up a can of biscuits at the store. This looks absolutely delicious.
I have never had monkey bread but it looks delicious!
You made that in the MICROWAVE!? WHOA!!
Yep, I’m awesome like that. Plus this is the easiest recipe EVER! 🙂
The one time I made monkey bread it was in the oven, and I hated it. I HAVE to try this.
If you enjoy buttery, cinnamony deliciousness you definitely need to try again.
I love a recipe that’s delicious AND easy, and it doesn’t get much easier than a microwave. Thanks for sharing this. I see Monkey Bread in my family’s immediate future!
I love anything easy! This looks so good!
My entire family would love this. Be great for movie nights.
I love monkey bread. I have never tried it in a microwave! But next time I will.
How cool that you can make this in the microwave. I’ve made it in the oven many times but this simplifies it even more.
I never would have thought to make this in the microwave
haha I know what I’m picking up on Friday. I did not know you could do this in the microwave. I have everything minus the biscuits. 🙂 Can’t wait to try this out. Pinning it too so I don’t forget.
That looks so tasty. It’s so easy to make, too! Anything that’s easy to make always jumps to the top of my list.
OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! That looks AMAZING! I’m literally salivating right now. nom nom nom nom
Looks Yummy!!
That looks insanely good! This could be dangerous though, now that I know I can make them in the microwave.
That looks wickedly scrumptious!
Oh no, this is too dangerous! I had no idea you could make it in the microwave, now I don’t have anything stopping me from making it!
The microwave? I had no idea that was even possible!

would this work with crescent rolls too?
I haven’t tried crescent rolls but I bet it would!
I realize this is an old post. I am excited to see another use for my silicone bundt pan. Don’t use it too often anymore as I am an empty-nester… but when my son was younger and I needed that ‘quick’ thing to bring to an event it was my lifesaver. I always did a Duncan Hines Chocolate Fudge mix. Took 10 minutes in my microwave. It would puff up really high and come back down. Then I would take a tub of chocolate frosting and microwave it enough that it was pourable and pour it over for a glaze. No one ever knew it was microwaved. That was the only flavor I used just because lighter color cakes the color isn’t right in the microwave, chocolate you can’t tell.
Cindy,
I ♡ my silicone Bundt pan!
Hi Cynthia, glad you found the post and another use for your silicone bundt pan! Thanks for stopping by!
No good though when you live in a country that doesn’t have the canned biscuits… nor biscuits of any kind! *weeps*
Oh no!! How do you live without canned biscuits?! You should be able to substitute homemade biscuit dough. Let us know if you try it!

What if you don’t have a silicone bundt pan???
Michelle,
You can use a microwaveable bowl with the recipe as well. I just like my silicone bundt pan because it makes it pretty. 🙂
Glad to know you can do it in a microwave. Will have to print this out and try it

Thank You. Thank You. You have just given me the perfect excuse to buy the silicone bake set I found on Amazon. My husband says I have enough cookware. But when I tell him I can make monkey bread in the microwave!! That is one of his all time favorites. Can’t wait. I just like the pretty reason, too.
