My family loves to try new dishes and I love to cook for them but let’s face it there are times when Momma is tired and the idea of whipping up a gourmet meal does not sound like much fun. With Ling Ling Asian Food I have found a great cooking hack that helps me serve my family a delicious Chinese meal in minutes! We love celebrating Chinese New Year however this year my boys have a school dance on the first day so we will be looking for a fun but fast family meal. No worries there, Mom has a plan! I will be making Pineapple Fried Rice using Ling Ling Chinese-Style Vegetables Fried Rice as the base.
I practiced making my special dish and am excited to share it with you. All you need is to visit your local grocers freezer section and pick up Ling Ling Chinese-Style Vegetables Fried Rice, a couple chicken tenderloins, half a cup of cashews and a pineapple.
Easy Pineapple Fried Rice
Ling Ling Chinese-Style Vegetables Fried Rice
1 tbsp oil
2 Chicken Tenderloins
1/ cup Cashews
Cut pineapple in half lengthwise and scoop out meat.
Cut pineapple meat into chunks and reserve for later. Microwave the rice per directions on the box. Heat oil in wok or large pan. Chop chicken tenderloins into bite size pieces and add to hot oil to cook until tender. Add cashews and pineapple to pan and cook until warm.
Add cooked rice to pan and combine all ingredients. Serve in hollowed out pineapple.
My family is excited to celebrate the Year of the Dog! We have already checked out each of our birth years to see what animal year we were each born in. We have a two monkeys, a pig, a goat and a dog at our house! The dog is super excited that this is his year again and he is also excited to celebrate with Ling Ling Asian Food.
Does your family celebrate the Chinese New Year? What animals do you represent? Will you be trying some yummy Ling Ling Asian Food with your celebration?
