I have always loved roses. My Mom wore rose scented perfume and I do as well. The scent is lovely and it reminds me of her. It’s been years since I made this easy rose craft but I thought it would be a fun thing for the boys to do this year for their teachers for Valentine’s Day.
Tissue Paper Lollipop Rose
What you need:
Small lollipops – we used Dum Dums
3 or 4 – squares of Pink or Red Tissue Paper (5″)
Green Craft Foam paper
Small rubber band or twist tie
Lay your tissue paper squares on top of each other and then fan them out so that the corners don’t match.
Place the lollipop in the center of the tissue paper and gather them around it.
Place a rubber band or twist tie around the lollipop stick and shape the paper around the lollipop to form the flower
Next cut your leaves from the green foam paper and cut a small hole in each. Push the leaves up the stem (lollipop stick) of the flower.
You can have your child write a message across the leaves before placing on the stick to personalize the lollipop flower.

Super-cute, Robyn!
Thanks Mindy!
Hi Robyn! I have a quick question for your super cute idea!! (This is probably a really dumb question, but I just want to clarify. 😀) Do you slide the stick of the lollipop through the middle of the tissue paper so that the stick is the stem? Or do you use the stick in the middle of the tissue paper to create the center of the flower?
PS I Love this idea!!!💖💖💖
Hi Amy,
The flower is formed around the candy and the stick becomes the “stem” of the flower.
